Purpose and lawful basis
We will collect data only directly from you and use it for the following purposes:
- to contact you;
- to register your interest in enrolling in the School;
- to store your information for admission & eduсation purposes;
- to provide you with information about the School application process, news, updates, and events that may be of interest for the potential student or parent; and
- to analyze trends of the website use.
If we need to process your data for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent.
The School will rely on your consent as a lawful basis to process data. For the students below 18, we will seek such consent from their parents.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us via email.
What data we collect
We collect your data when you provide it voluntarily by filling in our forms, surveys, subscribing to our mailing list, or allowing our use of analytical instruments.
We need enough data to be able to contact you and register your interest in the child’s enrollment. For inquiries we will need your full name, email address, and phone number, while for the enrollment we will also need the full name, date of birth, citizenship of the child, as well as certain documents such as: birth certificate and/or passport; proof of legal guardianship, including court orders (if applicable); parent and/or guardian work phone numbers and email addresses; behavioral, academic, and health information; most recent report card; emergency contact information (including doctor’s name and phone number, health insurance number).
We will collect minimal data about your device known as ‘cookies’.
Our strictly necessary cookies will ensure proper performance of the website. You can reject them via your web browser settings, although this may negatively impact your experience or even make the website inactive.
With your consent we will also use analytical and advertisement cookies provided by Google Analytics and Facebook. They help us calculate statistics of visits, analyze respective trends, as well as improve your experience and make you offers with your consent. If you have consented, we will collect the IP address, operating system, type, and identifier of your device, type and version of web browser, your Internet service provider, date, time, and place of visit, time spent on pages, source reference and keywords you used to find our website.
The School may transfer your personal data to third parties when it is legally allowed or the applicable law requires us to do so. We will share your data only with third party providers known as processors who help us run the website.
Our website is stored on the Amazon servers in the European Union. We collect registration information via an online enrolment tool hosted by Open Apply and use Google instruments to arrange your inquiries. All of them process data in line with our instructions and apply sufficient measures to secure your data. For instance, School commissions only ISO, SOC and/or other relevant standard-compliant hosting providers that adhere to best privacy practices; allows only authorized subjects to access data. The School, however, is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites linked from our website, if they are not hosted by our processors.
When transferring data to processors outside of Ukraine we will favor the countries that protect data at the same or higher level as Ukraine. We will ensure that sufficient safeguards are put in place when this level is lower.
We will not share your data with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing.
We will not store your data for more than it is necessary to achieve the purpose for which data was collected via this website. We may destroy it earlier, if the respective goal for which it was collected is achieved (after replying to your inquiry, successful enrollment of the child, etc.), or when you have withdrawn your consent.
The School implements sufficient technical and organizational measures to secure and protect your data. Our employees may access your data only when it is needed to perform their job duties.
Your rights in relation to data
By contacting us and confirming your identity you may exercise the following rights in relation to your data:
- right to withdraw consent;
- right of access and information;
- right to rectification;
- right to erasure;
- right to restriction of processing;
- right to object to processing.
You may lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or a Ukrainian court, if you believe that your data was treated unfairly.
